The AFP™-NSE2 flexo plate is the successor of the AFP™-DSE and NSE, and meets the highest quality standards in post-printing corrugated board, solid board and heavy-duty bags.
The AFP™-NSE2 delivers low dot gain printing with excellent ink transfer for sharp, consistent image quality. A wide printing pressure latitude ensures homogeneous print results, while optimized plate resilience minimizes the washboard effect. The plate offers wide exposure latitude, high durability for aggressive papers, and improved mechanical resistance. With steep relief shoulders and high flexibility, it is ideal for demanding high-performance flexo applications.
AFP™-SF/DSF

The AFP™-SF/DSF is Asahi’s medium hard plate that elevates printing results to a new level of quality. It is designed for good highlights combined with excellent ink transfer onto all substrates. Its optimized balance of solid ink laydown and highlight dot printing produces incomparably good ink coverage with low dot gain in the mid tones and brilliant highlights at maximum printing speeds, with particular suitability for flexible packaging printing on film and paper with solvent or water based inks.

AFP™-NSD

Asahi‘s AFP™-NSD is a hard flexo plate and the successor of the legendary AFP™-DSH for excellent printing quality and high durability. The improved mechanical stability and outstanding ink transfer behavior in combination with low highlight dot gain, is making the AFP™-NSD plate the printers’ plate of choice.
The plate is an upgrade development to meet the future chemical regulations such as REACH and others. It was developed with the concept of keeping the identical performance as a copy of the predecessor AFP™-DSH. Plate repro and printing curves are the same and the plate easily can drop into the customer workflow without the need of making changes to the processing specifications.
AFP™-NSD also features steep relief shoulders and optimal intermediate depths, ensuring excellent printing results from the very start. Primarily used in printing flexible packaging and labels, the AFP™-NSD truly demonstrates its strength in handling challenging tasks, depending on the specific printing application required.
